A country where fundamental rights and human rights are protected and the law is equal for all is emerging!

Adding new meaning to the social ideology that the more disciplined the political leadership of the country is, the more the people of that country will automatically be disciplined and that it is absolutely impossible to expect disciplined rulers to emerge in an undisciplined society, a disciplined governance regime is emerging in the country, so in order to maintain that situation at a more positive level, the people should also be disciplined, says Dr. M.M. Safan, Executive Director of the Human Rights Protection Organization.

Mr. Safan said that the current rulers are acting in an exemplary manner to the people, unlike anything seen before in the political history of this country, and that it is a great blessing for the people of the country that an example has been set from the President to the grassroots level. He added that many countries in the world that have achieved high levels of development achieved that development because their rulers were disciplined and set examples for the people.

Putting an end to the ideology that this country could never be built, the country is now surrounded by theft, fraud, corruption and the current rulers have already set that example from top to bottom, and accordingly, it is the responsibility of the people to contribute to aligning the society.

Throughout the history of this country, the people have always criticized the President and the Members of Parliament, but since that group is a reflection of this society itself, in such a social environment, the former rulers often did not contribute anything good to the society. He said that at this moment when a good socio-political environment is being built, the people can create a good society by being disciplined and contributing to it, and that a suitable socio-political environment has now been created in the country.

It is worth mentioning that the Muslim people of this country live without any fear or suspicion. The liars who posed as religious leaders in Greece do not exist in society today, and therefore Muslim women and children travel all over the country to fulfill their needs without any fear or suspicion, he said. Our women, who were afraid back then, now go to churches and worship God without fear.

“The fundamental rights and human rights of the people should be protected and the law should be equal for all. The rulers of a country should not have one law and the common people should not have another law. They should be disciplined and respectful of the law while walking from their homes to the streets and in public places. The people expect that this equality of discipline and law, which we have so far limited to talk about in Sri Lanka, will soon be established in the country. The progress that exists today in countries like America, England, Australia, and Singapore is based on the discipline and law that exist in those countries. No country or society without discipline and law has made progress.”

මෙරට දේශපාලන ඉතිහාසයේ පෙර නොවූ අයුරින් වත්මන් පාලකයින් ජනතාවට ආදර්ශමත් අයුරින් කටයුතු කරන ආකාරයක් පෙනී යන බවද ජනාධිපති තුමාගේ සිට බිම් මට්ටම දක්වා ආදර්ශයක් මේ වන විට ලබා දී තිබීම රටේ ජනතාව ලැබූ විශාල භාග්‍යයක් බවද පවසන සෆාන් මහතා ඉහළ දියුණුවක් ලැබූ ලොව බොහෝ රටවල් එම දියුණුව ලැබුවේ පාලකයන් විනය ගරුක වී ජනතාවට ලබා දුන් ආදර්ශයන් නිසා බවද පවසයි .

කිසි දිනෙක මේරට ගොඩනැගිය නොහැකි යැයි තිබූ මතවාදයට තිත තබමින් මේ වන විට රට තුල හොරකමට වංචාවට දූෂණයට වැටබැද ඇති බවත් වත්මන් පාලකයින් ඉහළ සිට පහළට එම ආදර්ශය මේ වන විට ලබා දී අවසන් බවද ඒ අනුව සමාජය පෙළගැස්වීමට දායකත්වය සැපයීම ජනතාවට භාර කටයුත්තක් යැයිද ඒ මහතා පවසයි

මෙරට ඉතිහාසය පුරා ජනතාව හැම විටම ජනාධිපති වරයා හා පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී වරුන් දැඩි ලෙස දෝෂ දර්ශනයට ලක් කරමින් විවේචනය කළද එම පිරිස මේ සමාජයේම පිළිඹිබුවක් බැවින් මෙවැනි සමාජ වටපිටාවක් තුල හිටපු පාලකයන්ගෙන්ද බොහෝ විට යහපත් දෙයක් සමාජයට එකතු නොවූ බවද යහපත් සමාජ දේශපාලන වටපිටාවක් ගොඩ නැගෙමින් පවතින මේ මොහොතේ ජනතාව ද විනය ගරුක වෙමින් ඊට දායකත්වය ලබා දීමෙන් යහපත් සමාජයක් නිර්මාණය කර ගත හැකි බවද ඊට සුදුසු සමාජ දේශපාලන වටපිටාවක් දැන් රට තුල නිර්මාණය වී තිබෙන බවද ඒ මහතා පවසයි.

විශේෂයෙන් සදහන් කළ යුතු දෙයක් වන්නේ මේ රටේ මුස්ලිම් ජනතාව කිසිදු බියකින් සැකයකින් තොරව ජීවත් වෙනවා.ග්‍රීස් යකුන් ආගමික නායකයින් ලෙස පෙනී සිටි බොරු කාරයන් අද සමාජයේ නොමැති බවත් එම නිසා මුස්ලිම් කාන්තාවන් දරුවන් පවා කිසිදු බියකින් සැකයකින් තොරව සිය අවශ්‍යතා සපුරා ගැනීමට රටපුරා සංචාරය කරන බවද එදා බියෙන් මුළුගැන්වී සිටි අපේ කාන්තාවන් දැන් බියෙන් තොරව පල්ලි වලට ගොස් දෙවියන් වදින බවද ඒ මහතා පවසයි.

“ජනතාවගේ මූලික අයිතිවාසිකම් හා මානව හිමිකම් සුරක්ෂිත වී නීතිය සැමට සමාන විය යුතුයි.රටක පාලකයින්ට එක් නීතියක් හා සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාවට තවත් නීතියකුත් නොතිබිය යුතුයි .තම නිවසේ සිට මහ මඟ ගමන් කිරීමේදී මෙන්ම පොදු ස්ථාන වල හැසිරීම් වලදී ද නීතියට යටත්ව විනය ගරුක විය යුතුයි.ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අපි මෙතෙක් කතාවට පමණක් සීමා කර තිබෙන මෙම විනය හා නීතියේ සමානාත්මතාවය කඩිනමින් රටේ බිහි වනු ඇතැයි ජනතාව අපේක්ෂා කරනවා. ඇමරිකාව ,එංගලන්තය ,ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාව,සිංගප්පූරුව වැනි රට වල අද පවතින දියුණුව රදා පවතින්නේ එම රටවල පවතින විනය හා නීතිය අනුවයි. විනයක් නීතියක් නොමැති කිසිදු රටක් සමාජයක් දියුණුවක් ලබා නැහැ.”
