Complaint filed against Maithripala Sirisena with the Financial Crimes Division
A complaint was filed with the Financial Crimes Division today (20) regarding the misappropriation of Rs. 27.5 million.
The complaint was filed by P.V. Lakshman Jayawardena, Vice Chairman of the Eppawala Cooperative Society, regarding the money allegedly given by former President Maithripala Sirisena for the construction of a building on land belonging to the Eppawala Cooperative Society.

රුපියල් දෙකෝටි හැත්තෑ පන් ලක්ෂයක මුදලක් අවභාවිත කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් මූල්ය අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසයට අද(20) පැමිණිල්ලක් ඉදිරිපත් කෙරුණා.
එප්පාවල සමූපකාර සමිතියට අයත් භූමියක ගොඩනැගිල්ලක් ඉදිකිරීම සඳහා හිටපු ජනාධිපති මෛත්රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා ලබා දුන් බව කියන මුදලක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් එප්පාවල සමූපකාර සමිතියේ උප සභාපති පී.වී ලක්ෂ්මන් ජයවර්ධන මහතායි මෙම පැමිණිල්ල සිදු කර ඇත්තේ.
