No talks until attacks stop – Iran makes a strong statement
Iran says it will not engage in new nuclear talks until the Israeli attacks stop.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi further said that diplomatic efforts with the United States regarding its nuclear program are unnecessary until the current military situation stops.
The minister participated in the United Nations Security Council meeting held in Geneva yesterday.
The Iranian Foreign Minister made this statement in response to a request made by European Union foreign ministers during talks later in the day.
This comes against a backdrop of US President Donald Trump saying that he will decide within two weeks whether to join the Israeli-Iranian attacks.
It is said that several targets were attacked overnight.
Israel also said that several Iranian soldiers, including a commander at an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) base, were killed in the attacks.
