The House Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has decided to reduce the monthly food bill of parliamentary officers and employees.

Accordingly, the monthly food bill of executive officers from Rs. 4,000 will be reduced to Rs. 3,000, and the monthly food bill of general employees from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 2,000.

Meanwhile, it is reported that this is the third time in recent times that the food bill of parliamentary officers and employees has been revised.

පාර්ලිමේන්තු ගෘහ කාරක සභාව විසින් පාර්ලිමේන්තු නිලධාරීන්ගේ සහ සේවකයන්ගේ මාසික කෑම බිල අඩු කිරීමට තීරණය කර ඇත.

ඒ අනුව විධායක නිලධාරීන්ගේ රුපියල් 4000ක මාසික කෑම බිල රුපියල් 3000ක් දක්වාද, සාමාන්‍ය ‌සේවකයන්ගේ රුපියල් 2500 කෑම බිල රුපියල් 2000 දක්වාද අඩු කරයි.

මේ අතර පාර්ලිමේන්තු නිලධාරීන් සහ සේවකයන්ගේ කෑම බිල මෑත භාගයේ සංශෝධනය කෙරුණු තුන්වෙනි අවස්ථාව මෙය බව වාර්තා වේ.
